paris

Good Afternoon.

PARIS from Michael Marygin [...]

it’s been a long day . . . plus, wolfpack reunion

I know, I know, RogueRanters. I’ve been seriously neglecting this blog, right?

It’s just that well, I’ve been writing a lot- just not blog-ish stuff.

Also, I’m still trying to figure out how to work this new vid editing software so that I can share some new artists with you. (I’m such a MASSIVE FAILURE at stuff like this these days. Why is that? Must work on this. Pronto.)

But overall, [...]

if you’re visiting nyc . . .

Make sure to visit the zoo.

best moment of my life

Down in Na Pali. Best moment of my life. Water so clear. Sand so grainy.

Waves big enough to keep most people on the sand.

It’s a poor quality photo (and probably not the most flattering), but it means so much to me. I know I’ve blogged about this moment before, years ago, but I’m doing it again. I remember the exact moment it was taken, after riding a wave [...]

a different kind of chinatown

I went back to Oahu for Thanksgiving with my best friend this last November.

Naturally, we had ourselves a little thrifting sesh in Chinatown during the rain. (I was happy, even with the rain, because Manhattan was pretty much a frozen Hell hole at that point. Even with the “rainy season” chill in Oahu, temperatures were still around 60′s & 70′s.)

It’s an interesting little nook of Honolulu- which let’s [...]

playgrounds

I have a strange fixation with playgrounds. They’re always so colorful, and I do love to take a ride on the swings.

You know, at amusement parks and fairs, how they always have rides that spin you around crazy-like? Those are my favorite.

When I was younger, some of my fondest memories were my father spinning my brothers and me on the playground [...]

a walk in the park

One of the best things about living in Astoria is Astoria Park.

It’s large, but not so large like Central Park that you get completely lost in it.

There’s a magnicificent public pool.

People walk their cute dogs there, so when I’m walking around, I at least get to see cute dogs, even if mine is back in LA right now.

The surrounding area, i.e. the waterfront and [...]

this is what rainbows look like

In my world.

This crazy dress always makes into my duffel when I’m traveling.

Sometimes you need a little more color in your wardrobe when you’re abroad, yes?

Note the backpack strap and water bottle in hand: hot, hot day in Paros.

And below, the murky water: lazy day at Brighton [...]

During my glorious return to Manhattan, Little Italy, circa [...]
