Okay, Pretty Birds, I’m certain you’re sick of my incessant chatter about brilliant, blinding colors, but before I spout off about how I’ll be painting my nails blood-orange this evening, here’s one last look at color- albeit more subdued than the previous posts . . . Maybe it’s the double “s” in her last name. Maybe it’s the upturned nose. Maybe it’s her rounded eyebrows. She screams youth and vitality, which is fitting ‘cuz girlfrannnnn is like 16 or something and has been blowing up for quite some time. See for yourself why everyone loves ‘em some Frida.
 Mario Sorrenti is a favorite of mine, and this editorial he shot of Eniko Mihalik—–”Visions,” styled by Carine Roitfeld for Vogue Paris October 2010 . . . makes me want pastel colored hair in the worst way imaginable; it also makes me want to bleach my eyebrows for that cold, oh-so-mechanical look. (But really, Pretty Birds, it’s only a matter of time before I go there and just do it already.)

After telling you about my Paul Smith SS2011 obsession, of course, Pretty Birds, I would have to just fall head over heels with the androgyny in this editorial . . . Can’t we all just be boys for a day?  You know, Pretty Birds, when I was younger and my friends and I would run around on the beach- we conveniently lived across the street- doing silly things like having shaving cream fights, we never looked nearly as chic as Guinevere van Seenus does here, in this editorial by Mario Sorrenti for 10 Magazine Fall 2010.
